About Us

A quieter place to learn about recovery

Transform Recovery began with a simple observation: most information about substance use disorder arrives either clinical and cold, or loud and frightening. We wanted a third option.

Dignity first

Every page is written as if the reader is in the room. No fear tactics, no lectures.

Evidence over opinion

We follow clinical consensus on medication, therapy, and harm reduction.

Families included

Recovery happens inside relationships, so we write for the people alongside too.

Calm by design

Soft color, slow motion, generous space — because panic makes decisions worse.

How we work

Our content is drafted by writers in long-term recovery and reviewed by addiction-medicine clinicians and licensed counselors. We do not sell treatment, accept referral fees, or rank facilities. When guidance changes, we update the page rather than adding another one.

What we publish is general education. It cannot replace an assessment from a clinician who knows your history — and it is not meant to.
